Dialogue on the characteristics that define the identity of the Company of Mary

The sisters from the Congo led us in prayer for the day, beginning with a meditative prayer reflecting on Psalm 39 and Article XIII:

Our apostolic life requires union of hearts as a condition for making credible the message which we proclaim. Fraternal life is the witness to the presence of the Risen Lord among us.

The entire day was devoted to discussions and whole group sharing on the very heart of our religious commitment—community life, lived in the day-to-day reality and always in search of the Ignatian magis. The actual title of the day was: The Formation of Communities with an Evangelizing Passion—we pray that we may “maintain this flame” burning brightly!

Our evening liturgy was concelebrated by Fathers Jean Claude Lulonga and Faustin Kambale Binywa, Carc. Father Faustin is Sister Maria Christine Mabruki’s, (odn), nephew.

wow, It must be a very terested and rich experience since all of you come from different realities and cultures. In my imagination, all of you have big eyes, minds and heart to embrace all the differences in an united body of the Company of Mary. I am already very excited to study on the documents of the Chapter!!!
May God bless you and your works!!!
Lots of prayer,
